Thomas Nast is the illustrator who gave us the character of Uncle Sam, the Donkey and Elephant for the parties; he is also the one who gave us the Santa Claus version of St. Nicholas. The link here is to an Aesop Fable version of how self-government could be thought of in a different way. Fill those stockings!

I think they have those all the time, I see them walking around talking and I guess when they get tired they just sit down and color Mickey Mouse. I have never seen them sitting at a desk working the pages are setting down front on the floor and their walking around talking and laughing.

Very good stocking stuffer, well as long as you gave a 180 page report explaining what it is supposed to mean.

Hey, that girl went to our school! She is in college I think; will have to check with alumni office. But why does one of the commentors here say that a 180 page book is needed to explain this? Strange. The second episode of the coloring book introduces the same idea, but in a different way, that the engineer of the Golden Gate Bridge (Straus) had and is also found at and Great for armchair tourism! Love this simple and instructional coloring book in several languages - wow! (Oh yes, what politician would read a 180 page book? This coloring book is perfect for many of them!)
